    selling the coaches

Description looks great. More thought went into that than most eBay vehicle ads.

Just a head's up, your Photobucket link is set on private and not viewable. May want to adjust that.

No. Has to be Flxible body number. Tom McPherson provided the following for your auction coach~

There were only seven Flxette landaulets built and sold. These went to:

                1. H.W. Jenkins & Son - Baltimore, Md. - Flxible body #1019
                2. Turner & Porter Ltd. - Toronto, Canada - Flxible body #1047
                3. Arthur Phillips - Inroton, Ohio - Flxible body #1054
                4. Detroit Undertaking Service - Detroit, Mich. - Flxible body #1056
                5. Fisher Funeral Home - Harrisburg, Pa. - Flxible body #1077
                6. H.O. Stockert - Flatwoods, W.Va. - Flxible body #1081
                7. G. H. Busch & Sons - Cleveland, Ohio - Flxible body #1082 (panoramic landau)

                    From Tom McPherson:

                    Ambulance

                    18094 - H.R. Snyder Van Nuys, Ca. Delivered 2/17/60
                    Motor #4G-1014010

                    Hearse

18101 - Rose Manor Funeral Service Richmond, Ca. Delivered 4/7/60
                    Motor #4G-1038248
                    Flxette

1077 - Fisher Funeral Home Harrisburg, Penn. Delivered 7/6/60
                    Motor #4G-1063067

The Premier Ambulance (FB63-60) was one of two delivered to Snyder - the other was body #18095 - and was sold to the customer (Snyder) by H.V. Whithorne & Company of Tarzana, California. Both units were delivered together on the 17th of February, 1960. The hearse (model FB62-60) was also sold and delivered by Whithorne. Hope that this is of some interest/use to the owner and tells me that on page 48 (lower left) in TPC issue #148 there is a photograph of the two Snyder cars that were taken at the Flxible plant prior to their delivery to California. How neat is it that one of thee cars has survived?

With regard to production statistics for the 1960 Premier models, these were:

                    Funeral coach - 11
                    Combination car - 65
                    Ambulance - 12
                    Total Premiers - 88

There were 7 landau funeral cars and 1 high-headroom ambulance produced in the Premier series for 1960

If you happen to have other Flxible body numbers from your past coaches he can supply the same. Flxible is the ONE coach company that Tom and Walt have a complete set of records for.

Will look in Flxible book later. Pretty certain that breakdown is located near the end.
