Misuse of term 'coffin' is funny. Price is downright comical. The best part however is this unexpected newsworthy twist:

Right now, I could only find a single medical skeleton on Ebay, with a buy it now price of $4,800. If you can find one for less then $3,000, it really is a bargain. Meanwhile, if you want an authentic 100 year old coffin, you'll find one, if you look hard and long enough. I have both, but I was lucky to have inherited my medical skeleton, and I consider the Victorian coffin (not casket, irregular sides) I got from an antique dealer which long ago went out of business, a real find.

I want to get a coffin. They are so much nicer than the caskets. My friend got one off craigslist. The woman that had it said it was a display at a funeral home. I know some countries still use coffins. Do you have any pictures of your coffin? I would love to see it.
Here's a couple of medical skeletons I found.

If one wanted a medical study skeleton, these two are the better value, because the cranium on these two haven't been cut. In most study skeletons and skulls I've seen, the cranium is typically cut, which allows the brain to be removed intact. Sorry about the quality of the picture, which is my daughter camping it up with the coffin.
