That is a hard to get windshield and not usually cheap if you can find one.

I wonder if it is flood damage, kinda weird that both the engine and trans would be bad.

I would think current owner purchased a low mileage coach just to pull that drivetrain for a different car before thinking they failed.

Fresh off the phone with the gentleman selling the coach. The S&S is a 34K mile coach that has given up its drivetrain for a current hotrod build. The coach is in great shape "Grey cloth interior BTW" aside from the steering column being pulled and I believe he said the radiator and AC condensor as well. Very down to earth seller will let it go for $800. Current prices on original windshields warrant a no brainer decision on buying if needed.

Worth noting that there are multiple windshields (both passenger and at least two different commercial) used in '93-'95 coaches. Not each is big money. Scrap is up to $10.50/hundred, so obviously this S&S is worth it regardless.

Sad, but hopefully someone gets it for parts! Couldn't he have done in one of those ugly LS motored Camaros?

If for whatever reason you wanted an LT1, would you settle for an LS1..?

                  I wouldn't.

I agree, the LS seems to be the hot ticket right now though, I guess because they are plentiful.

The LT1 will bolt right into a chevy frame rail. Nothing wrong with an LT1

Not all LT1s are created equal. I guess if you were building a mild streetrod this would be a good start. But the LT1 used in the buicks and cadillacs were cast iron head, 2 bolt main, and lower base HP. But like I said depending on what you were building and your budget and the lack of any give a shit factor for gutting a hearse, this would be good way of getting a power plant for your project. Oh well, like said before it would be a good parts car now. And it's pretty cool it has grey interior. I almost always see maroon or blue interior in this era of coaches.
