Mine's front wheel drive and does quite well, gets up and moves pretty damn good, and cruises down the interstate very well. And of course the 23 miles per gallon doesn't hurt none on my 1200 mile road trips either.

thats why i loved my 85..........it was very peppy for a front wheel drive. i loved the gas mileage too.

Hello, My son owns Macs former 85 fwd S&S.. did some work to it when we got it, (intake gasket, etc,) has been a very good car since. It gets 20mpg easy, he drives it to high school every day. he has put about 35k on it and yes,it has the dreaded ht4100 v8. Probably the best money I have spent on a car....

i'm glad the car turned out to be a good car for him and he likes it. i plan on getting another one similar to it. the big block in the 73 is killing me in gas.

I have the 4.5 in mine, and other than having to have a shop do all the work to mine instead being able to do it myself, I absolutely love it. One day I will have my 60's caddy as a toy this one works perfect as my daily driver.

i'm pretty sure those front wheel drive ones are a good bit smaller and lighter weight than my abigail. that thing has got to be severely underpowered

sticker weight on mine says its 5000 pounds which is definetely not too bad considering its size. but yes I do think its still smaller than yours and of course i'm not running that hellacious suspension either. whic actually sucks cuz i would really like to tow at least a decent size trailer
