Saw this a little over a year ago. Then they were asking closer to 30 grand for it. Now it's down to two?

      Times must be hard.

$2,000 is the STARTING bid, there is a reserve price set on it (I'm sure close to/if not what they were asking before) If the auction ends and the top bid is less than the reserve they don't have to sell it.

Just checked it's listing...NO RESERVE! hmmmmm..... It would be fun to have. Just to watch the expressions on peoples faces as you drive by in a hearse that looks like it's been in a war.

            Holy crap your right!

I guess they just assume it'll go for a bundle.

Then again with the economy in its current shape maybe they'll just write it off.

good eye for the NR man!

You know, there is a big, BIG difference between a movie car that was in A movie, and a movie car that was in a GOOD movie.

This was a passing vehicle used in a HORRIBLE, shitty, terrible movie, the kind which the writers should have been shot for making. Seriously, John Conner as a snivelling pussy? And let's not forget how AWESOME it was to see a hot chick who is actually a remorseless KILLING MACHINE! WOW! Never saw THAT plot device before, have we?

The Harold and Maude 59, it aint.

I am surprized no one picked out that all the film clips show a S&S with a RAISED ROOF and this car is a low roof. This was a tow behind car that the actors sat in and read there lines. Notice the tow bar mounts under the front bumper? Probably the only parts that are seen in the movie were the windshield and dash. But for the starting price, it was a good deal.

Has anyone noticed how the landau bars are upside down? I had to point that out.

I was thinking in the movie, the hearse had the top ripped off. I only saw the movie once, so I could be wrong.

Ended at $5100 I believe. Not bad price for it being one of many used in the movie. Props of any kind are rare anymore specially since most stuff is computer generated now.
