          Few thoughts on this ambulance/auction~

$13.1k. Not bad for this economy. Given the condition, non-inclusive of a recession, I would assume that 'value' is low and a good buy.

That being said, I propose that the actual eBay value is only $9200. The third high bidder's amount was $9100. Second high bidder seems to have placed a number of 'play' bids - starting early and pumping the price just under the bidder above him. Specifically, 8 bids only topping the higher bidder once, while raising the price almost five thousand dollars. In fact, 88% of second high bidder's bids have been with the same seller over the last 30 days.

Now, I am not implicating the seller in any unscrupulous activity. However, this is a very questionable bid pattern that raises a fed flag. Perhaps second high bidder has a like vehicle, thinks his is worth far more, and didn't want one to go this cheaply. The possibilities are quite broad.

Logic dictates in essence you're bidding against yourself in any scenario like this - pissing money away freely. Who among us wouldn't wait until near the end of the auction to bid - *especially* when a high dollar item is involved? Akin to revealing your cards.

Only those with an IQ hovering around a stack of wet cardboard at room temperature could legitimately make such a bidding mistake. Seriously. Be sure to pay attention to shill bidding people.
