Luckily, this '60 isn't a Miller Meteor then.

James, you know full well that this isn't a Crown. Here is Brian Stahl's original '60 for reference:

I recall seeing that OR CL ad a couple times and didn't realize that this is the same coach. The pics in that ad weren't very great though. Wasn't the asking price reasonable? Bet the eBay seller is merely trying to break even after shipping.

Yea,......that's what I thought a Crown was supposed to look like.........seem kinda odd to me that he would try and cliam his was a Crown.............Thanx ATTI!!!

and yea, he is probably just trying to break even.

Ended @ $6,701, reserve met. Anyone here come out on top..?

4 different bidders comprising 7 bids in the last 20 minutes. This my friends is a perfect example of an honest, realistic, current market worth.

Dah!!!!! What was I thinking?! I own the same car.

What really bugged me and what I really only fixated on was the fact that he took really nice photos of the interior and put up a blurry photo of the passenger side which tells me that something was going on with that side of the vehicle.

I never bid on any vehicle with photos that show no close-ups and no detail.

As for the winning bid, the seller might of received higher bids if the photos showed the car better.

Well, that seems like a pretty realistic market value for the car, glad to know reserve was met...now let's see if the buyer actually buys.

Here is the 411 on it. I just came back from looking at it. A lot of hidden rust out, primarily the rear driver's side door, no skirts, no caps. Front windows are cracked and falling apart. Needs a new landau and paint job. Interior is ok no major issues.

Runs pretty good but the guy who is selling it is a complete freak and not in a good way.

If this is the same car I am thinking about it was owned by a guy named Jessi and his parents in Oregon who had ten or so old coaches (by the way Atti, they had PICTURES of all of them TOGETHER! For reals!) their collection was pretty neat too but I know they sold off a great deal of it sadly.

Ahhhh. I distinctly recall speaking with his father a few years back. They were moving and slimming down all the cars. There were two '60 Superiors belonging to the son. At the time, the father didn't know if his son was going to keep them and find storage on his own or sell. He forwarded a picture of the two parked next to each other.

I didn't realize this one was one of that pair. Would have to dig through my notes for more info.
