Sean sold it to the guy who owned an ice cream shop if I remember correctly. The guy rented/borrowed it for awhile, and I "believe" that Sean has since sold it to him.

that is a beautiful coach. I love caddy 61's and 62's... and that superior rooflinining on this baby is gorgeous.
I agree... at least it doesnt have ladder welded onto the roof. but yeah you guys are right... its only vinyl stickers... easily come off without harming the paint if your careful.

That 59 is in dire need of restoration. We're not talking about a fresh out of service coach, or one that needs some cosmetic work. That is also the correct body for an ECTO. If putting it back on the road will motivate the owner to turn that sorry rust pile into a roadworthy vehicle, then what's the harm? Besides, if someday, somebody wanted to Un-ecto the vehicle, what would it require? Removing what ever is put on the roof, and paint.

Your 59 is not exactly rust free. There is some surface rust, but all in all you have a great starting point. My 59 has a lot of rust, and it's hard to tell from the photos how much rust mine has. On the other hand my Park Row was pretty rusty when I bought her, and I look forward to derusting it in time. I did not mean to infer that your coach is beyond restoration. If you want to see a coach that looked way beyond restoration, there was that 1941 Carved Car that was created by John Little of Canada. An amazing job was done to restore that particular vehiclee. Going back to your 59 MM, if you're intention is to make an ECTO out of this particular 59 MM it's a good starting point.
