Yep yep.
Pretty familiar with the car, having just missed out buying it earlier last decade. Someone else beat me to it, which I found out a couple years ago was Dwayne Velasquez (NHAA: evilelvis). Dwayne has done work to this '60 Crown during ownership, as it is better off than when offered in TX.
Dwayne recently pulled a multi-coach trade with the current owner Jack, whom I've met before, and lives in Austin. Jack decided to sell the '60 without incurring transport costs from CO back to TX. So while Jack is in TX, the coach resides in CO currently. As such, I haven't physically seen it.
I don't know how much Jack is looking to get. Dwayne's price when offered to Mike Kearney back around Dec. was $10,500. Not outrageous - but definitely in the upper end of market value given the condition. Not many landau combinations exist. Not many '59-'60 Crowns exist either!
Hope this helps. Any more details desired I'll provide via PM/email/phone.
60hearse, you should call me about replacing your old 60 MM with another.Last edited by 60Crown; 07-12-2010, 11:05 AM.

Met with Jack this afternoon, went and looked at some of his personal cars awaiting restoration that are stored at a different location. He did mention the '60 Crown reserve - which I will not disclose. It is a fair amount cheaper than the previous asking price Dwayne had however.
Also, the majority of interest calling from the auction is overseas. After overhearing a few calls inquiring about it today alone, I anticipate the reserve will be met. Good luck!
