Bet I know the site you saw it on too. Here's what I posted over there.
I wonder how fast they were traveling and what the rest of the story is. I mean I've been in plenty of proc... caravans and we've been on the freeway/expressway/whatever you want to call it doing a pretty good speed. I hate it when regular cars cut in but that's no reason to tailgate and possibly rear end your friend's car. I always leave enough space to stop safely if possible (the hell parade is about the only exception).Comment

We are all safe, our coaches are a little worse for wear. It was three of us Members from Carolina Coffin Curisers involved. We were headed to a Club function when an SUV in front of the Car infont of us ran off the road and swerved and tried to come back on the interstate causing the car in front of us to lock down their brakes, we were going with traffic so we were all traveling about 55mph. We all had about 3 car lengths between us but all yall already know the cars don't stop on a dime when traveling at interstate speeds. We had to lock down our coaches and sadly damaged two of our coaches really badly. The SUV that swerved back on to 77 did not stop so they were not able to charge anyone with the incident.Comment

I didn't get to post last night, because we still went to the Woods of Terror. We needed to get our minds off of the accident.
I always try to keep a few car length between me and anybody while driving a hearse. People will cut between you if you leave them room. This is from my view point of the accident. I was the last one of the three. I saw Darrell taillights and I slammed on brakes, but there is no way I was going to stop. I hit Darrell and expected there to be cars behind me piling up. Only the car behind me hit me. I looked up and Darrell was in the left lane and I was stopped beside Thomas. I don't know how we ended up how we did. The SUV that hit me was in front of both of us when she stopped. Darrell was in the middle, but he came out the best, with a small dent in his right front fender and a dent in his loading door. My hearse needs a new front end (hood fenders, bumper, grill, and lights) and driver's side rear fender has a dent, loading door has dent (still able to open) and driver's side rear bumper and taillight will need to replaced. Thomas' driver rear door took the worst of it.

You'd think, but I'm betting in their screwed up logic if their car wasn't damaged, they weren't "part of the accident." Friend of mine was wrecked by an SUV doing a similar highway over-correct maneuver on Christmas morning of all times, and the driver never stopped. Fuckers, even if you witness an accident you're supposed to stop. If you cause it you're legally responsible and are in tons of trouble if caught.
I've got a looxcie now so if anyone fucks up I've got it recorded. Hopefully I'll be able to read plate numbers too from the video.Comment
