The transmission is a Turbo 400. When you go for parts at most places, tell them anything except Eldorado. The engine were are the same in 73. I usually say Fleetwood 75, it's a limo. Some parts stores have commercial chassis in the computer or in the books. That's for engine/transmission parts. For everything else (brakes, suspension, etc.), you will have to research.
Post some pictures. I have a 73 MM, too.

Getting a stock exhaust over the counter could be a challenge. The rear brakes you may be asked for drum width. From the windshield forward it's a standard Fleetwood/DeVille for engine, radiator, heater core and what not. It does have leaf springs in the rear whereas a sedan has coils. Welcome, I also have a 73 M/M pile of crap coming to life again a day at a time.

I got a new crossover pipe for My 72 last year on Ebay. Got a Guy on there that suppose to have bought the blueprints for it, anyway it fit perfect and was about $85 if I recall right.

mohawk this car is in awesome shape! the only 2 things wrong with it are the door seals and some rust!!! it only has 30k on the car!!!!!!!!! i went under the dash to look around and there isnt even a single spliced wire other the factory! and the best part is i traded a 1991 sporster, that i payed 2k for, for the hearse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A 91 Sportster for that? I bet it was tough keeping a straight face. Nice to be in the right place at the right time.

Your hearse looks good from the pictures. Most older hearses have rust. Hearses were not built to last forever, they were built to last maybe 10 years. Now I wants some interior pictures.
