thanks! still learning the sections in this forum, is there a tech section that might have hearse specific info? maybe how to's or something? Its pretty cool learning more about the differences between manufacturers, and you sound like some very knowledgable people! Now back outside to work on the coach.....

Yea, check out "The Garage" section. The first thread "current projects and how to". Loads of good info there as well as the "technical" section. The "procar forum" and "procar pictures" sections have a lot of good info on many coaches.
The guys here are top notch. Everyone jokes around and has a good time. Crazy group of characters, but hey, we all drive hearses, whaddaya expect haha! But when it comes down to it, these guys know their shit!
Don't be afraid to jump in! Just look at all the posts from stupid people to see how not to act around here, you'll be just fine lol

If you want more info about your coach, it's a Miller - Meteor "Citation Landaulet", this was their top-of-the-line hearse. That special roof molding was called the "Corona roof trim" and the Citations got the most elaborate landau bars, and 1976 was the first year they did the bars partially in body color. You could order it with a choice of 3 roof finishes... glossy paint, textured crinkle, or padded vynl.
The Citation line was introduced in 1966. Miller-Meteor was VERY proud of this model. Miller-Meteor's general manager Vern Allen said "This car has been named the Citation because it is literally what the name implies - the greatest tribute that can be bestowed by a funeral director".
Enjoy it and have fun with it!
