Glad to see you're on here. I'm Kevin on Facebook. Looks like a bad ass event. Wish we were closer enough to make it

A cemetary is actually letting the event happen and not throwing you out? Awesome, I feel like moving now.

I have been on here for awhile. I just dont post too much.

And Laurel Hill is an awesome place, they loved us since the first time we showed up there. They actually asked if they could host it for us.

Laurel Hill survives partly on tourism so they use things like cemetery tours to help fund maintaining their grounds. Whatever they can think of that draws tourists is usually ok in their book. Today they're actually showing a movie of an early 30s exhumation that someone found at a garage sale to the general public at the cemetery. Greenwood in the NYC area is the same way. Probably the biggest reason why Laurel Hill is still in such nice condition compared to, say; Mt Moriah. They even have a gift shop & their employees [volunteers?] spend time on facebook promoting the place.

I plan on being there, I've been wanting to visit Laurel Hill just to see the cemetery for a while yet.

Yea, Laurel Hill will do whatever they can. Our show is actually free for anyone to be in or just go see. They are however hoping that most people are generous to donate at least a little something to them. The MPCC as a whole plans on giving some as a thank you for hosting the show.

Was a really good turn out, 19 or 20 cars by my count, and a quite a lot of spectators from the public coming in to look at the cars. People were going in & out of the cemetery up through the very end. Very well put together, I wouldn't be surprised if more people show up next year.

The cemetery officials [? volunteers?] are really nice, can't say enough good things about everyone who was there.

Here's a few pics from today,

15 hearses and 1 flower car, plus a few other non procars that showed up.
Here is the MPCC's album on facebook, slowly adding a few more.
