Recently i've sold a few toys to gain garage space for winter projects... yet keep buying more projects when they surface!
Last week I saved this old 1947 Cadillac A.J. Miller landau hearse. What I like best about it is that it's a landau... as hearses of this vintage are usually limo-style hearses with full windows.
It's rough but mostly all there. The engine & transmission were scrapped years ago but other than that this coach is packed to the ceiling with the parts. The hearse was stored for 12 years and the owner decided to sell, and no bites from numerous ads had lead him to set a date with the car crusher. Couldn't see that happen so I hired a rollback, bought the hearse, and brought her home.
But tomorrow is another day... and i'm bringing another hearse home tomorrow (stay tuned)
