Greetings and a welcome from Ohio! Nice to see another vintage Poncho being rescued. Those are getting a little far and few in between. Glad to see another gearhead and good luck on your resto!

Thanks guys for the Warm welcome
@ slownlow it's not going flat black as a matter of fact it's not going to see any paint paint at all it will probably get bagged and driven I don't have the time or money to do a full resto and I'm wanting to start drivin it so I'll throw a motor in it a run it for a bit and then do the suspension amongst other things

Thats straight i can dig that. I like no paint rather than flat black. Wasnt trying to offend you just saying flat black is getting old and not every car that has rust on it is not a rat rod. Def post pics when its bagged. Ive bagged a few trucks. Did a 74 ford courier not long ago with a full stainless tube bag on bar four link. Might tackle a hearse one day but the ones i have are restorations. Looking forward to seeing progress.

With the ambo id highly recommend you design your own. I get all my heim joints, bungs and tube from chassis engineering out of florida. Theyll ship you any length of tube of any material at a damn reasonable price. I make my own mounting tabs usually but they are so cheap might just get quality air ride to shoot you some out. Check out Creepy Cruisers bagged 65'. Hes here on the forum and has a link to his build. It lays frame and is one of the cleanest hearses around.
