  • Rarest of the rare?

A good friend of mine claims to have found a '34 Hudson Carved side coach that's been in the same family since new. Supposedly disassembled for resto in the 70's the coach is all there, but in pieces... Having never seen a hudson coach, I'm leaning towards "pics or it didn't happen." Anyone seen a 30's Hudson coach? Perhaps he's mistaken about the Chassis, maybe it's a packard or Lasalle.... input?

I only find one mention of a Hudson hearse built by the Silver-Knightstown Body Co. But it was not a carved panel hearse. Silver-Knightstown would build to the customer's specs, including chassis. So it is not out of the realm of possibility that in 1934 a customer wanted a Carved Panel Hearse built on a Hudson chassis. S-K surely would have built it for them. That is about the time that carved panels hearses were making a comeback in the 1930s. But I am with you, I need pictures.
