I should post the picture of the piece of rusted metal that a bodyman in Anaheim had given me as a souvenier of my 59 when he had done some extensive body work. I honestly don't mind some rust on a hearse, but I share your dislike of someone who would take a salvageable hearse, and try to turn it into a pickup by cutting off part of the roof. I have no doubt there are plenty of Yugo's which would be ideal for that.

yeah I have seen some good hearses get destroyed by folks not doing research before taking a cutting wheel to one. I have always wanted a '75, and a '63, but I think they all got crushed or put in to a demo durbi around here. lol. I have some ideas on how to fix mine but I think it is going to be a lengthy process. I'm well known for not being rich...so I guess I'll take my time and do what I can when I can. lol.
