Love the Jeep, I had a 69 Wagoneer. 79 F-250 4x4 ATM. &6 might not be the best year, but still a great choice for a 44 rig. Only 190hp but still close to 500ft-lbs of torque. My 75 will roast the tires.

Very cool, that's sort of a 66-70-77-85 with Buick350 and 3/4ton running gear.

I can probably pull some more ponies out of that 500.
Looking back through the 2 registrations I found it looks to be emissions exempt.

Gonna need to check that out, would sure make life easier.

I don't want to dump the AC compressor but it looks like a Performer 2115 will not fit without relocating the compressor.
Anyone make a kit that does that (I didn't see anything on the MTS website)?
      Possibly bracketry from another model?

For maximum intake clearance (any intake), includes special water neck.

Wish I could find a pic (almost any image search here at work is blocked).
That's what I do is fab steel.

Great, that's what I needed to see, what it does.
Seems like it raises the AC compressor just enough to clear the intake (was tight enough back there just to deal with the fuel filter, PCV and HEI vacum lines).
              >brain clicks<
I'll have to spec my stock bracketry this weekend and see what I can come up with.
              Thank You Very Much...

                      My name is simply Tad.
                      The ride shall be Natasha.

The day started with an unproductive trip south for Tweeks (we'll see what happens).

Trans leak fixed (hack job on line by starter, not sure why that's been cut and spliced) I'm sure I have some better BOPC hard lines around here someplace.

Then onto sealing this thing up correctly, first off is a busted upper drivers side door hinge.

It's your typical GM hinge pin, gone south due too lack of oil and the huge doors most GM products have (I've never owned a GM product where I did not fix at least one of these).

                      Unfortunatly...

...this one is heading to the shop for some straightening and welding.
The hole is just too egged out to slap a new bushing and pin into and that crack will only get worse.

Tomorrow we will try to find time to rebuild the Q-Jet, maybe do some more cleaning and start on the rusty roof.
