The theme is a "GOTHIC" ambulance. Instead of a gurney, a coffin. While it is taking up space, why not make it useful and showcase my abilities as a fabricator? The embalming machine would take the place of a resperator because this "ambulance" would not be about preserving life but about preserving the remains... Get it?

I like where you're goin with this, definetely think it will be a pretty sweet ride when you're done. Thought about the speaker box idea at one point too, got a little nervous about the rattles on my rollers so I scratched the idea.

Fortunately (for the project, not the car) the table is seriously warped, so when I replace it, I will install some extra rollers I have here that should take the abuse...

I like the idea of an "ambulance for the living dead", I just didn't understand the "regular ambulance theme" mixed with the "goth" theme.

I don't care for the coffin with speakers. 1st, its an ambulance. Stick with your theme. 2nd the subs in a casket has been done to death (pardon the pun). How about a lethal injection table with a zombie strapped to it?

Here is some cool shit to replace "normal save your life" ambulance devices.

I'll have to custom cut the flooring to fit, but the rollers would be most welcome in it So why are you removing the table? Putting in seats? As in most things, I have advice on that...

Its a secret I hope to reveal sometime this winter. Its a pricey ordeal I'm finding out but when I'm done it should be pretty wicked looking. I might looking for some advice when the time comes to actually start to build it though. I plan on yanking the table out sooner and I'll yank the rollers out and set them aside for ya.

Understanding it isn't truly important, as it is my own expression of an idea. Call it, if you will, art. Or you can call it crap. You can choose to ignore it alltogether if you wish. In the end, it is mine.

Frankly, I'm not going with my first thoughts on this. The Coffin with speakers has been brought up so many times I am sick of hearing about it. The few times I have seen it done, it was not done well. I want to silence the wannabe's and armchair fantasy hearse owners. I AM sticking with MY theme. I may not be able to make anyone else understand it, but it is indeed MY theme. As for the Zombie... Not my style.

It is indeed cool shit, but I had some actual equipment in mind...

The whole not being able to do it right was kind of another reason I didn't end up doing the coffin speaker box. My wood cutting skills are lacking and I didn't want to end up cheesing out on it. The rattle was a secondary thing. And now I have that whole new plan hopefully bringing my own style to the custom hearse scene. But the way I've always looked at any car customizing is ,you build it for you not for anyone else.
