    I would suggest, unless you're a millionaire, take the money. Promises to others are sacred, but promises to yourself or a mechanical thing can be broken, and money gets more important every day, even if it's a little less valuable.

      I agree. Those offers don't come everyday. You would miss the car but you could buy another you would also love and still have money left over.

      The risky part is keeping the car. You never know what could be around the corner. A truck runs a red light and you lose the coach with out the 25g's. You get into a bind and have to sell the car for much less. Garage fire, stolen or a tree falls on it. Or it just deteriorates.

      I was offered 7000 for a car I would never sell, It sat in a building for ten years and when I needed the money I had to sell it for 1200.00. I had others I was offered good money for get stolen and I got nothing. There are always more cool cars, buyers are few.
