  • WANTED: Pics and VIN's of every 1961 Cadillac Procar

I know it seems ambitious, but I think I want to try to catalog the whereabouts, condition and VIN of all the 1961 Cadillac Procars still out there. Not exactly a registry per se... Just a "collection" without having to own them all. And as a bonus, I might just get to figure out how many were built by each coach company that year I love the 1961 and 1962 Cadillac Procars, and it is becoming a bit of an obsession. And a sick one at that. To own one is an exercise in futility, as I think it has more "Commercial Chassis Specific" parts than any other year (or to put it another way, less crossover with the stock sedan they are modeled after). If you happen to know anyone with one, please put them in contact with me. I promise to be gentle with the information...

Making sure that you already had these. Owners and VINS you can figure out.

Is there anyone else on this board who has a 61 Cad? Am I the only one?

Man that flower car tow truck is depressing - I wonder what happened to it after that?

Upper right. Windshield looks tall. What do you think it is Larry?

The 1961 Eureka had decorative coach lights, where as my 1962 I owned years back did not. I wonder if they were optional, or if 1961 was the last year for them.

Atti, the roof looks too flat to be a coach IMHO... At the moment, I'm at a loss...

Thought the same. Glass is still taller though - limo maybe?

Just found this '61 Superior ambulance. Crown badging? Odd.

                          More pics here.

Keep stumbling across '61 pics while searching for other stuff... Maybe if I actually start looking for '61s I'll find stuff I need?
