Oh yeah, they are just putting the mirror bracket up as a dodge... The hearse is what they are really trying to sell...

Obviously. Guess my question should have been more specific - '61 and not '62, right? Dork.

And the bracket appears to be off a Cadillac, not a Dodge. Ha.

It is hard for me to tell with any certainty, but it does appear to be a 61...

I don't know if this'll help but, according to McPherson's book - Superior: The Complete History, the company built 1,451 cars in 1961 and 1,468 in 1962.

For 1961, there were 135 Cadillac three-ways, 221 Cadillac end-loaders, 469 Cadillac combination cars, 37 Cadillac flower cars, and 193 Cadillac ambulances. The balance were built on the Pontiac chassis.

In 1962, Superior-Cadillac production and sales broke down as: 127 three-ways, 239 end loaders, 472 combination cars, 34 flower cars and 186 ambulances. The remainder of the 1,468 cars were Pontiacs.

This book documents the prices for all of these cars as well and shows a photo of each and every body style and service configuration for both years and is the most complete source for information on Superior that I've ever found. If you don't already have a copy, I think I've seen it on Amazon.com and Enthusiasts Books.com but, it's not cheap.

He's also got a new book coming out on Miller-Meteor and maybe it'll have some numbers from their production for these years. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in here.

Here's the '61 I called you about yesterday. Sorry, not a Landau...we guessed the make though correctly.

Snapped this tonight leaving a friend's property. Like the idea - too bad I didn't have a tripod:
