Original selling price?

I was on the phone with my insurance company today to get a quote for Edna, and he asked me what she originally sold for.

I was like, 'Uh..' and he guesstimated it at $6,000 back in 1969.

I was just curious if any of you know what she would have sold for; I don't know what model she is, though I'm fairly sure she's either a Superior or a Crown.

Also, I got a chuckle out of him when I told him what Edna was. He was like, 'Wow, that's awesome, really cool.' And proceeded to tell me about all these other hearses and ambulances he's seen. It was kinda' neat to hear a grown man gush about a car.

Also, I got quoted at $75 a month for both of my cars, woo! Sorry to brag, I'm just excited.
