I haven't done much to Shayde (my 61 M+M) lately, but I have been doing a head swap on Lara's 73 Superior. Lemmie tell ya, with it parked nose to tail LITERALLY with my 61 Superior (the bumpers are touching) getting around the front is putting a strain on my back something fierce... What have you been doing with your hearses lately?

Looks like I'm going to need to drop the tranny pan and change the filter/fluid. That's going to be messy. I finally replaced the trans modulator, but it didn't appear to help shifting.
I've pretty much narrowed down a tranny leak that I was told was power steering, turns out to be in the trans cooler lines just can't tell where the actually leaking. Any ideas as to where I can get replacement lines?
Oh and I still need to figure out where my battery drain is coming from.

If you can drive it out to Dallas, I will personally take issue with your car... Hell, I'm about to put the new heads on in a few minutes. I've got time...

Hearse Con, be there or accept your role as a bitter failure at life.
http://www.hearseclub.com/hearsecon/hearsecon.htm
What we have been up to...
The 73, the 71 and the 91 Superiors out front, this is the sort of shit you see on a Sunday around Hearse House...
Desiree fixing her brakes. She is relatively new to working on her hearse (this car was how we met, she drove in from Ohio for the convention last year) but she's picked up really quickly.
On the roof with the new propane system
The new hood blower
Random picture of Desiree being hot.
For anyone who cares, a shit ton of hearse/film pictures on my blog... http://pyrotech-c3h8.livejournal.com/

We have been gutting the 49 we just bought to see just how much work we truly have in front of us. Looks like I will be replacing about 95% of the floor pan. Luckily the substructure is in pretty decent shape and the frame is in great shape so should be a piece of cake.
On the 69 I finally got the belts straight for the double AC belt set up.......oohhhh nice and freezing ass cold AC in an old hearse kicks ass!
That after market AC kit was worth every penny.

Regretfully not a whole lot being done on mine either. Due to low paying jobsites and not staying in one place for longer than a couple of weeks, mine is extremely neglected and the miles are racking up. Since her virgin roadtrip last april I've put close to 30,000 miles on her. So any funds set back for her go to maintenance not cosmetic.

63 M&M; pulled the left rear leaf spring off due to being cracked in half. Looking for a used one. Pulled the water pump off, broke a bolt that goes into the timing chain cover. Have to pull that off to fet to the eng block and extract the bolt piece.
