I know I am probably biased, but it doesn't appear to be worth more than $4500. The parts for a 63 and 64 are a bit tougher to find because this was a heavy transition period for Cadillac's drivetrains, and some parts are one-year-only pieces... If it has rust, and I see grime behind some of the shiny parts, it may be intact but just not worth what he is asking. Just my 2 pennies...

It's worth what you're willing to pay. But I'd consider him taking at least a $1,000 less. Depends how badly you want it. 63 was the last year for the Cadillac tailfin, and they are a great looking coach.

I meant 63's had the the last style of tailfin used, and was carried over for 64. (I understand the 65 Limo's actually used the 63-64 fin as well, so 65 might have been the last year.)
