  • Looking for a hearse

Hello all of you guys and ladies out there. I am new and would like to join a hearse club, but the only problem is that I don't have a hearse just yet. If anyone out there can help me find a hearse around me, I would gratefully appreciate the help. I live in the Cobb County area, and I look forwards to seeing and meeting all of you new friends on here. Thank you so very much for your time.-Wade-

Why do you need a hearse to join? Having a hearse is a lot like having a spouse. You don't want to rush into buying a coach. I love the lines of Older Coaches, but parts are harder to find. Newer coaches are easier to find parts for, and get better gas mileage. Find a local hearse group that you can hang with, and learn what you can. You don't need to actually own a hearse to have fun with hearse owners, but it doesn't hurt either.

Wade, good to see you here.......read everything you can and visit with all hearse people.
If you've got any friends that are mechanics or towing/impound yard people, be sure and ask them if they've ever come across any.........

I have a 76 Crown for sale in Tucson. It's a long drive, but I made it in a raggedy old airplane once, with only one emergency landing. If you want to take a commercial flight out here, I'll come get you and show it to you. I don't know a hearse mechanic (besides me), but I know an impartial mechanic who will do a pre-buy and tell you the same thing I will...it needs a few things here and there, but it should get you back to Tulsa. I would even consider delivering it, if you buy the gas and my return ticket, and maybe one night at a motel because my health isn't good and I get tired. I'm putting a price of $2900, which is not bad for a coach that has has $7k worth of work done on it in the last 5 years.

You don't need to own a hearse to hang out here; in fact, you may pick up some info or ask come questions before you buy. My advice is to get a hearse that you really like, because you will have to maintain it, and they all need some "fixing up", and you don't want to waste time and money on a car that won't be just what you want.

My coach is the 76 Superior in the "for sale" section, if you want to look at pictures and get a good, honest description.

            It's good to meet you.

BTW, I have no idea why I thought that you lived in Tulsa.

I get the feeling that you're going to die, slowly. I have a corkscrew, and an mp3 of "Girl from Ipanema", if anyone wants to borrow it.

Oh, you have to watch out. We have some real sickos around here.
