  • Now THIS is a custom coach!

    Fuller Hot Rods gallery

Click 'Cars' - then 'Thundertaker'. Enjoy the slideshow with 59 progress shots. Unbelievable fabrication skills being showcased... Amazing what raw talent coupled with money can accomplish.

Ingenious using upper front door moldings and vent windows reversed between the C and D pillar.

So they turned a 1959 Landau, to a 1960 Limo style. To each their own.

Looks to me like they took 1960 Superior Landau and threw away everything but 60% of the sheetmetal and ended up with a 1960 custom Cadillac limo.

Looks to me like they took 1960 Superior Landau and turned it into a piece of shit. A shame but whatever.

They do some killer work, but the website only shows the work in progress and a couple of shots of the finished project. I want to see some detailed pictures of the completed cars, that will really tell how good they are.

Awesome workmanship. I like the windows too. The frame work is awesome.

Gotta admire the skill even if you don't like the car. I'd have put a Caddy engine in it. Must be nice to have money to burn. I'm jumping for joy finding 4 old slotted mags at the swap meet.

Looks like they disliked the 59 fins, which are iconic with these coaches. Looks like they would have been better off starting with a 1960-1962, since there are probably a greater number of those availabe.

That was a 60 they started with I believe. Was I seeing things? The first pic of the car looked like a 60.

No, they really did start with a 60. Otto just needs to clean his glasses...

No worries man - we still love 'ya.

I do wish the '60 front bumper was three piece like a '59 though. '59 bumper ends combined with a '60 center section would look a lot cleaner while retaining a license plate.

I think they did a great job.

No doubt, with all the work they are doing it almost looks like they could've just built the whole thing from the ground up. Might have been easier to start with the limo style car, though. Lots of skill there, not sure if I would have went to all that trouble, but you have to admire the skill

I don't believe it is finished yet. If you look closely at the finished pic, you will see that it is a photoshopped rendering of the original pic. If you look through the added rear glass of the coach you can see the graphic from the front door of the truck behind, where they just copied and pasted the glass from the front door of the coach.
