I was curious, if limos were built on the same assembly line as regular cars, or if they were sent out for conversion. Based on what options My car has I was wondering if my 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood funeral limo was done by GM on the assembly line,or if it was done elsewhere

The way most of these cars started out was as long wheelbase chassis with the front clip bolted on. Then all the parts, from door handles to qtr panels were boxed up and bolted to the frame. It was shipped out to the various coach makers to be completed. Any chassis could have been made into a hearse, limo, ambulance, service car, or even a speciallty wagon.
But I think Cadillac did make the Fleetwood 75s on thier production lines. Maybe they did other style of Limos too. But I do know that other coach builders made limos on Cadillac chassis too. You'll need to check for any builder tags, usually under the hood or in the driver's door jamb.

I believe your limo was built by Cadillac. The 6 door limos were built by the different coach builders.

Make sure that the chosen Limousine service has a good reputation in terms of their capability to transport their clients safely, quality of service, as well as the quality of limousine service they provide, also get all the information such as the type of limousine models they have, the inclusive service package, the driver and his experience and expertise, and the price they offer.
