  • $50,000 hearse

I think this might be a little over priced and it needs some work.

Typical example of someone who has no idea of what they have, where it was built, production numbers, or VALUE!!! Good lord, $50K for a '69 Superior Crown that needs bodywork, paint, and the table was butchered? Here's his post:

1969 cadillac Hearse, 2500 were made now only two left. Manufactured out of Linton Ohio April fools day. 472 big block engine, I have title, 50,000 dollars. If interested please email me at nathanmckinney1357@yahoo.com. It'sin great shape, needs a little body work on back door. We are out of Sunvalley, Sparks Nevada USA.
Here's my reply, will post it here because I know he's gonna flame me & remove it:

Your facts are ALL wrong. Your hearse is a Superior end loader hearse. It was made in Lima, Ohio. In 1969 Superior Coachworks built a total of 1,512 coaches and 413 of them were end loaders. Yours is a Crown model because it has the chrome tiara across the roof. There are MANY more than 2 of them left (all hearses and car based ambulances are rare). Your price is "off the charts" high for a coach needing paint, bodywork, and the casket table removed for those cheesy seats. Nice sounding pipes!
Thanks for posting this Josh... I needed a laugh tonight!

Maybe they were drunk when they posted it and really wanted to ask $5000 for it, which would still be a bit much.

Psychic it is Scary guy! My comment is gone already. Guess it really was made in Linton, Ohio (apparently a top secret place for Superior... not even on an Ohio map) where they mysteriously built 1000 more coaches than they had chassis for... yet only 2 survive.
We oughta get this guy to reply to all our technical questions, he's like my ex wife, he fucking knows EVERYTHING already!
