  • '78 Cailliac Superior Fleetwood End Loader Wheelbase?

I am purchasing a 1978 cadillac hearse sight unseen that's several hundred miles away. Does anyone know if the wheelbase will be the same as a standard Cadillac of the same year? I'm concerned that my trailer might not be long enough. Per his description it is a Fleetwood Superior Endloader. I can't seem to find out much from Google. I'd be devastated to drive 10 hours only to find out it doesn't fit on the trailer! Thanks in advance!

I beleive the wheelbase is 144 inches on the hearse, standard caddy is 121

if you have a 16 foot trailer the body may over hang a bit, but wheels should fit easy.

          What size is your trailer?

'78 commercial chassis was 1st year for downsizing I think.

I'll have to check on the trailer size. I'm borrowing one and do not have it yet.

77 was the first year for the downsized commercial chassis.
