  • Pictures from the other night

This is why you don't wash your car at night in Colorado, it fucking freezes, but I kind of like it because it looks like slime in this picture.

Put some neon in the guns up front...

I also made some additions to the roof, more lights, and I semi-permanently attached the propane and the gun.

Meh, just bored today figured I would post something...

The neons in the guns look great and let authorities know that they are "not live", lol. Just hope that your coach doesn't get much water in the door frames...as I found out with mine and had a nice time trying to pry my door open and ended up having to go through the back and do the good ole divider crawl.

Again I am lucky that by definition the neon is in fact 100% legal! First off, it's not on the underside of my car, it is also legal because side facing red lights are not against the law (side turn signals and rear quarter panel lamps both face outwards) so yeah, once again I am narrowly within the law. Of course there is always SOMETHING they can trump up if they really want to screw with you over it!

Hmmm, I have always HEARD, not fact, (around here) that you could only have red lights on the rear half of the car...i.e. brake lights, tail lights, etc.
Haven't heard anything about under car neon except that blue is illegal. Neon or not, anywhere on or in the car.

It probably varies from state to state. Around here it is forward facing red, but you can have orange lights nearly anywhere, blue is illegal, green is very illegal as it denotes a command vehicle, and purple is as of yet, unregulated.

The good thing about Colorado is that ambulances are protected so be technicallity I can claim protected status for Alexi and my Oldsmobile, plus if I travel to other states the laws in my registered state cover me.

When I was in California I got stopped for the neons under Abby...well, that and the 1,500 watts of Rammstien I was putting out at the time.

I wonder, since my tag registration says Cadillac Amb. could I get away with that myself?
It does vary from state to state.
I heard Green was regulated but because of Fish and Game Wardens and forest rangers.

Check your local laws to see if there is an exception made for ambulances (I used an online Lexis Nexus search to find my info) and if there is, you would be good to go!

Who???? Oh wait a minute....we call them possum cops here in KY.
Only regs here that are sure to get you pulled over is the blue lights..on anything especially if they flash. My son got it for the blue lights on the tire air caps that flashed!!

Well, I know on my 04 Tahoe it has red signal lights in the mirrors as well as the front and rear. So, I am pretty sure what Zach has going on is legal.

Now THAT is an idea - hook the gun lights to the turn signals
Look like firing when turning or just go down the road with the 4-ways on and watch people get out of your way
