Well gang I finally got the new wheels & tires mounted & balanced. They went on last night... Good grief what a challenge to get the rear tires stuffed up in the fenderwells! Rears are 255/70/R15 and fronts are 215/70/R15 & all are on new 15" x 7" rims. I love the look & the stance it now has. Next is bodywork & paint... the plan is next spring the coach will be all black, new curtains, and dual exhaust. Later down the road it'll get a healthy 350 Chevy engine & 350 Turbo tranny with a super-tall floor shifter! This coming summer though she'll be all stock under the hood. Hope you all like the new "bling" and would like to hear your comments!... for more pics see my photo album here on NHAA. Thanks Psychoholic for adding the photo album section, it's great!

Well I wanted to go with wide whites, but hate the look of the wide white radials. With the weight of this car bias-ply was out of the question too due to bias tires getting flat spots in them while sitting. Also it seems ALL the wide-whites "yellow" & always look dirty after a year or so of driving & Bleach-White doesn't help either. The wheels are rated at 1850 lbs. each so I knew the wheels were safe to buy & put on. The BF Goodrich radial T/A tires have a nice look so that's what she got. I will have to trim off some of the bottom lip of my fender shirts because they ALMOST rub the tire, so luckily the skirts have an inch & a half inside lip I can trim to gain some clearance & it will never show in their outward appearance!
