Well, to start, that white bench seat in the rear section should not be there. There are 6x9 inch speaker holes cut into the rear inner door panels. The rear section, judging by the pictures, was probably an actual 3 way not just a coach with rear suicide doors, and if you wanted to go back original with it, you'll have one hell of a time finding the parts. I dont personally have any pictures of a original early 60's side loader interior, but i am sure someone can post one for reference.

But like I said it is a very pretty car, and a very good find. Wish I had it.

Your coach was obviously a 3-way... it has suicide doors & no pillar... it had an electric casket table that brought a casket in & out of whatever door you open for loading & unloading. Someone chopped all that out to make a limo

Oh. I didn't know that. I have a list of hearses from 1958 to 1970 but no description of them whatsoever. Guess I'll have to look for pics. Thanks for the info.

I'm 99.9% sure it's a 1961 but not comfortable taking a stab at the coach builder, you'll have an answer to that pretty quick though. On a side note your Avitar & username is making me nervous dude...

Hi there; I wanted to share pictures of my recently aqquired hearse. I'm trying to figure out the exact year and model. I bought it overseas and it's on it's way home.
