  • hello everyone!

i am a new member just wanting to say hello and introduce myself.

my name is john, and i am from IL. after a 2-3 year search, i finally found a pro car - 1969 pontiac superior ambualnce!

this summer the car will be torn down and repainted, with hopes of re-assembling the car over the winter of 2010, and back on the road for 2011.

    here are a few pics.

No scaling of the skin like most of the ol gals that get picked up. Nice ride.

                thanks everyone!

overall, the car is in GREAT shape. new windshield is being installed next week, and there is alot of cleaning to do. very little rust, needs a paint job bad. all the pieces are there, but it does need a rear bumper. should be a fun project.

PS - the guy i bought it from, bought this car within a few days of it going to a demolition derby!

Glad it was saved. That is way to nice a coach to be in a demo derby.

Sending it to a demo derby would be blasphemy. It is a beautiful classic. Grats.
