  • New hearse and Hearse Girl galleries online

It has been a while since there has been an update on Hearseclub.com but I strove to make this one worth the wait.

There are 3 new galleries in the image galleries and a new Hearse Girls set with Natasha Rae.

We also have dates and event announcements for HearseCon 2010 online now!

Also, check out our announcement about the Hearse Girls, we are in need of some help to keep that feature of the website up and running!

I don't know you personally yet Zach, but I do know, YOU ROCK!!!

I check out Hearse Club all the time. (I love the little short movies you make.)

Well, I'm off to the dentist to get my tooth fixed from when my jaw hit the floor. (It was the one two combo of the girl and then the pink lifted coach.)

I'm pretty sure it's not really pink, I think it's just the light reflecting off the rocks, lol. (at least, I don't remember it being pink.)

            Great Update Zac.

As far as your announcement for help with the Hearse Girls section. I know that you have the autographed prints of the girls in your store. But have you considered offering exclusive pics, or sets even, for a download for donations? I don't mean to imply that you become the next internet porn pusher or anything. I just mean some shots that are not normally on the website. Or maybe, some in a higher resolution than what is given on your site. Just some thoughts.

Valid, constructive ideas right there... Or, you could just auction Natasha Rae off! I'll prep my son and get him to chuck his girlfriend.

Thanks guys, glad to hear you all enjoyed the update!

Creepy, thanks for mentioning the films. In fact I am about to start doing more with hearses in our films, we're releasing 2 films in Grindhouse fashion that will be short 45 minute comdey horror flicks that will both feature hearses pretty prominently!

Yes, the monster truck hearse is pink. It's a real light pink that is more of a tint. The owner is a really nice guy and his family owns several hearses.

The special Hearse Girls downloads are a good idea! I will need to look into the mechanics of how I would work it on the site for sale, but it might be worth it. When I do Hearse Girls sets there are usually about 300-400 pictures taken so there are always extra ones that no one sees. Mostly it's because they are similar to one another, but there is also the fact that you kind of want fewer pictures as opposed to more because it makes you look wet behind the ears if you post 75 pics that are all of teh same shoot. So yeah, that might be a good way to go!

As for Attis suggestion, no dice! We have a shortage of hot pinup girls around here, you live in Texas, hot goth chick/pinup rockabilly capitol of the world, get your own you mooch!

HBO Zach - Help a Brother Out!

Goes both ways. Here is a hot goth/rockabilly/biker/metal/pin up/tomboy/girlie girl/chameleon; mood dependent.

In fact, if you need any of these models from the V-Day Corset Ball sent north for a shoot, say the word. The dready chick is smokin'!

I'd also like to see a Hearse / Hearse Girs calander. You really have the talent & pics for a great one... I can't find any good Hearse calanders for my garage, office, basement, bedroom,.......

Just the coffin calander by an Italian coffin maker. They use the same 2 girls in all the months though.

                        Thanks for the link Atti!

As for the calander idea, this has been suggested a lot but there is a very good reason I don't do it-

Basically when you print something up you want to make it something you can sell for a while, especially if you are selling to a small interest group. The reason being, printed items have a way of selling well at first but then you end up with dozens of copies that don't sell, sometimes for years. A good example would be my heasre club stickers, I actually GAVE many of them away and I just now ran out of my order of 1,000 that I bought in 2001!

Calanders are worse because it's something you can only sell for a year, and most of the things I make don't have the kind of demand where they sell out in a year. I'm not saying you couldn't make one and make some money on it, but for me I am not in a league to take a chance, I tend to spent the money I have making funeral flags and shirts because I know the market for them and if I don't sell them in 2010 I know 2011 will be there for me.

So there you have it, my long winded explaination!

I've been giving away small refrigerator magnets to promote the Barbie Dream hearse. They were fairly cheap to make; it never occurred to me to sell them.

But on the topic of Hearse Girls, I'd gladly volunteer to do a shoot if a good photographer feels like flying to Seattle. :-) I haven't met too many other (or any other) girlie hearse enthusiasts on my tour of the West Coast. It would be nice to!

The name of the hearse is great, I had to go find your galleries just based on that!

Any more pictures of it online, say Myspace or anything? Also, any more pictures of that good lookin' dame with the hearse?

I was really excited about this car, so I documented pretty much everything from start to finish.

In the coming weeks, I really need to build a more traditional business website where the blog is a section, but not the whole site. I should be able to do this myself, but I'm a little rusty. I have Flash tastes and an HTML budget. We'll see what happens... :-)

As for pictures of me, I have some scattered around. Here's a fairly recent one of me last year after winning some awesome new boots in an online contest: http://www.platkat.com/images/newboots1.jpg

[ Personal sh*t ] I recently went through a hellatious breakup, so I lost about 20 pounds. I don't look emaciated or anything, but I'm feeling confident enough to get in front of a camera again, which is why I've been putting out the feelers for maybe doing a shoot when the weather gets nicer. The problem with photographers here is the good ones don't usually stick around that long! [ / Personal sh*t ]
