And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this as a GB fan...I wouldn't try to convert any '59 other than the M+M Futura Limo style...but IMO the Eureka is just so balls out ugly that anything that detracts from the shitty lines is an improvement...make it a Mad Max hearse, cut the roof and make it a truck, hell put 26" rims on it with a candy paint job and Dr. Pepper on the side for no reason....anything's better than stock.

Really? Are you serious? Dude, I love the Eurikas. My first choice for a 58 or 59 Caddy is the Eurika. What makes the Ecto Eurika look so shitty is that it is a Landau that they took a saw to and cut MM style windows in the back then removed the roof trim. It doesn't look right. The factory body lines are fine and to see one in person you would fall in love with it.

The Ecto looked like this before being butchered. I think your in good shape if the club is in a car lot looking at this car and a yugo, you will have pushed the Yugo halfway home before the rest of us are done fighting over the caddy.

That is John's old Pontiac. That was the nicest Pontiac around, including mine. Now that I see what has become of it, I feel a little sick inside. I support the right for people to do what they want with their own cars. But just because you can, doesn't mean you should!!
