Dimly lit 35mm print offered as proof that more '59s are out there waiting for discovery. Don't think this Superior Royale limo style is a Crown - as C and D pillars appear parallel.
20-22 years ago when a shutter snapped this '60 Superior Royale limo style combination it was still restorable.
Even after knowing general area - it took patience, several months, and considerable detective work to figure out actual location. A handful of other procars are strewn over the same property - including a '63 Superior and a '64 Eureka Landau 3-way. I've spoken to owner and have an invite to come check them all out.
So this lead (and sleuthing project) has turned more into "What condition(s) are they now?"
Scanned in another couple prints that were sent to me, I imagine around the same time frame, 1997 or 98. Can't recall what kind of price they had on this one. A current Google search turns up an "Executive Motors" in Ohio, about 4 hours away from Lima. Maybe they never got the price they were looking for and moved? Hmmmmmmmm......
After asking around, I believe this is the S&S that FD Dan Skivolocke owns. Rance Bennett in MI handled the 10 year restoration.
Snapped in '02. It was available in CA for some paltry sum - like $500. Certainly hope this super rare '59 Memphian Mercury still survives! Really neat coach.

Is the Futura the rear corner windows, like a Superior royal?
My 58 Miller Meteor is a Futura Limousine Duplex. Futura was the only part I wasnt sure about...
'37 S&S Byzantine Buick may not be for the faint of heart but it was under $2k. This picture was taken within the last 5 years. In the US! Person who shared this with me saved 35mm prints but accidentally threw out contact info. Certainly hope this wasn't scrapped~
The large 'carved' cast aluminum panels alone were well worth the full asking price.
Found yesterday! Nobody home. I'll have to wait until the weekend to learn out more. Convinced this is same coach. With any luck the price hasn't risen nor metal/wood deteriorated much more. And if it is not restorable, I'll proudly part it out and keep those cast panels.
