Hello, I am looking for input and suggestions for paint schemes on the new JL 1:64 scale release of the '57 Chevy Hearse. The first scheduled release is November 2010. I am very thrilled about the release and excited to get the NHAA community involved.

Wow!!! There are a few dedicated diecast collectors here, myself included.

What a sharp casting. I'll start kicking around graphics ideas. Thank you much for taking the time to post this here.

I'd like to see it in the original scheme when they were built by National coachworks... gloss black with all the chrome. Adding landau bars to the rearmost panels is a must, otherwise it'll just look like a '57 handyman wagon. Nice casting & thanks for asking us!

Did National even stretch the frames on these cars? The doors are obviously resized between the front and back, but the wheelbase looks proportional?

Hey! It's TOM Z! WOO HOO!!!

          I'm on JLTalk.com as "Funeralracer".

I was just wondering about this car the other day, as I can't find a release schedule that mentions it!

What line will it be in? At what MSRP? Which BRICK & MORTAR retailers will get them? How many will be produced? What WL attributes will it have?

          Will you be making a 1:24 hearse(s) PUH-LEEEEEEEASE?!?!?!?!?!

Okay, okay, enough fanboy crap outta me...

First and foremost, please make sure the landau bows/irons go on the right way. The "Haulin' Hearse" casting still bugs me (even so, I have all 10 variations of this casting)

Stock origional (National Coach version above)
Black w/flames : Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Silver, Gold, Copper, Flat Black (Falcon hearse from a few years ago)

          Looking for something more elaborate?

Tombstone Grey with they NHAA logo on the roof/hood (and/or any of the associated clubs on here)
Black with the Dallas Trocars logo on the roof/hood (I have the authority on this one)

Sir "Not Appearing In This Film" and the FALCON HEARSE

                    PICT0089.jpg

                    Not Pictured:
                    6 versions of the Munster's Drag-U-La
                    5 versions of the MunsterMobile
? versions of the Meat Wagon (30's lowtop ambulance)

And ALMOST every one of these has a chase version as well, but I can't afford to collect those...

Gonna need another Carney Case if more hearses are comin'... WITHOUT the vertical dividers this time...

                      Yeahyeahyeah~

Thanks for posting all those toys Larry. We've spoken before about doing so on numerous occasions. You picked a great time to do so!

Should squeeze time out tomorrow for some JL '57 hearse Photoshop love. *Really* diggin' the NHAA logo idea!

Already lustfully collecting this '57 Lightning Strike version in my head... White Lightnings are so '09.

Oh, and Tom, take this from a guy that despises Tri-Five Chevy. I'm just stoked to have a new diecast hearse toy on the market and am certain others are as well.

Hey man, good to hear from you. The first release will be an all black version in the JL2.0 line which retails for $3.99. This will be out later in the year. I don't have plans for a 1:24 scale but would love to do one at some point. Who do I need to contact to use the NHAA logo on the packaging?

                        Tom Z

You need to get permission from Chris (Psychoholic), he has a funeral this week so it may take a little time to hear from him but he owns/runs the show here. You can private message him here: http://www.nationalhearse.net/forums...?1-Psychoholic
