  • Looking to trade a few cars.

So I'm kind of new to this website, kind of not. I use to post a few years back under the name of something like hearse_ss but I forgot both the pass word and email I used for that screen name so I made this one lol

Well I've been searching the net for about half hour for the right pictures to show what im looking for, but ive only been able to find this one group shot.

What im looking for is the black one, the green classic, and the chase pieces in the back row.

What I have to trade is the gold chase piece, the heman of the universe car and the green crowers car. These are big ones to grab for my collection ** Side note the cars I do have for trade are not carded. I acquired those three in another trade that is why they are not carded.

Hopefully the good people here can help me out, I'm on a mission to get all the 59 Caddy Funny car's lol so far im doing good up to 9.

Welcome to the site. That shot is a portion of my collection Rob. There are 17 '59 F/C releases to date including convention cars and I'm missing just 1...coulda/woulda/shoulda pulled trigger last year when that last rare piece hit market.

Check with Boogeyman Con Carne here. He may have a Chase Classic left. The green regular is actually much more difficult to find than green Chase.

About black, are you referencing Crower from Delivery series or Target exclusive Halloween 5-pack with flames?

Well Atti, thanks for taking that picture then lol. I searched for a while and couldnt find good solo pictures of them. And I am referring to the black Halloween car. I had to sucome and buy the black crowers car on ebay, and I looked on ebay and one green classic was going for 29 bucks plus shipping i was like good god all mighty lol

And I might have to just shoot him a message then. I seen the green chase piece once and thought man I don't want to pay 20 bucks for one car, guess I should have picked it up, doh! lol

I'm sure I have a couple extra Target 5-packs tucked away in storage. It'll be awhile before I get there if you don't come up with one first.

Purple and blue '59 Chases seem more common than green Chase. HTF lower production pieces always maintain more value. $20 and $29 each are not bad, seriously. Could be worse. The blue Chase Custom Convoy also in Classics Series 5 is consistently over $100...

And that sole remaining '59 F/C I'm missing will cost @ least $150 - if I can find another.

So im curious Atti, what piece are you missing? Im always trying to learn more about hot wheels and die cast, im convinced its a sickness lol.

And yeah I regret not paying the 20 bucks for the chase piece when I seen it in person. But when I found the gold chase piece, needless to say I didn't make the same mistake. I was at a show and the guy was selling the whole set individually and I looked down and happen to see Goldy sitting there, loose though, but heck needless to say it was in my hands and only paid 5 bucks for it felt like I hit the lotto lol.

And Im going to another show this upcoming sunday if all goes well so who know's i may get lucky there.

And hey I'm in no rush to track down the black car, if you have a extra one im game for it, and like I said no rush lol.

And one last question, is this section just related for hearse diecast or is it kind of open to all of them? Either way I got a few pictures im thinking of sharing here

I'm missing a bingo convention car. 13 were made and 12 were given out to winners.

$5 is a tremendous buy! Congrats. I have a few and never found one that cheap.

Good practice to start acquiring duplicates at toy shows. Someone here will need 'em. Share pics away~

Yeah, and actually I had it in my hand before I even knew the price of it, all I knew was I was walking out of that show with that car lol.

And I try to get duplicates but being unemployed I'm kind of dealing with lets say limited resources lol. But when I had a job I think i stocked up on like 10 of the white matchbox hearses when they came out, needless to say a few of them were open and now I have seven on my wall and two black ones on my wall, also have three unopned ecto cars that hotwheels released last year lol but my main passion is these dang 59 Caddy Drag Cars lol. I have a friend on a hot wheels forum in southern texas he told me that the hardest one to get is now in my possession with the gold chase piece. So now just need to track down the other chase pieces.

And the one your missing I don't think I've even seen the pictures for that, its the first I learned of it, but I wish you luck in finding one good sir!

Now I must go post pictures here lol

I have a couple of the Black Halloween sets from Target. If Atti can't find his, let me know. I buy extras, when I can. I have actually found a couple a Big Lots, Matchbox Ecto, Greatful Dead hearse, and Grandpa's Dragula in something like 1:18 scale. Never know where you will find hearses.

What is the difference between the classic and the chase? and what do you have to trade for a black halloween car?

The only differences are the regular's have the standard wheel on them, and the chase pieces have rubber wheels on em with the 5 spoke faster then ever type wheels. And I'm trying to track down a black one myself. I may have a extra green crowers car and same with the gold chase classics car, i'll know for sure after Sunday, going to a hot wheels show and may try and trade them off there.

Proper term for Hot Wheels with rubber tires is Real Riders, abbreviated RR. Each wheel has own designation as well. On Classics line, regular have GY5SP and Chase have RR5SP. Here's a good reference site for pics, not necessarily current market prices:

Faster Than Ever (FTE) wheels are completely different.
