Wanted to say thanks to Amber and Travis for having us at the car show. Was fun hanging out with you guys. Also wanted apologize for not showing up Sunday morning, but we was tired.
Also wanted to say that we have a couple of new members. Met them out in Nevada, Mr. & Mrs. Spooky, as they will be called till they get a chance to introduce themselves.
Got the events page updated, if things need moved around I can accomadate, just wanted to lay some ground work down for now.
There will be no spooklight hunting this year. We scanned the road and now that it's paved there is NO way to park out there and look at anything. Unfortunately we're out of luck till some enterprising farmer decied to put a parking lot out there.
I think thats about all for now. Later

Thanks for coming out. We had a blast. Even though Travis' Morbid and my Victoria were far from being pristine show quality, they still garnered a lot of attention and we were able to plug both the Kansas Hearse Association and Chariots of the Dead hearse clubs. People especially seemed to like the casket being used as a cooler...lol.

It was likely a good thing that ya'll didnt follow us up to KC. I hadn't thought about it til later, but both of the coach lots would have been closed, although you still could have checked out what they had on the lot.

We got the Buick Flxible hauled back to Hearse Haven, but not without a lot of mishaps. Took a lot longer to get it loaded than we had hoped for, and then we ended up with a flat tire on the trailer (out on Highway 71 in Grandview) with no spare. Luckily it was right across from a Sam's Club. We were able to buy another tire ($81 for tire, mounting and tax) but we had to buy a club membership to do so. ($40).

The new coach has been dubbed Lizzie. It turns out that it is a 64 instead of a 63. Larry paid for the old girl, but has pretty much decided that he really doesn't like it....she is sort of ugly, and ungainly...I doubt that this ugly duckling would ever be able to be turned into a beautiful swan...lol. At this point, we're not sure what's going to become of the old girl, other than it has been saved from being towed off and crushed or being used for derby car. And for now, that's all we care about. She's safe, and one of these days I figure that we will have the money, time and inclination to do something fun with her.
