Gates open at noon. Figure we'll run 78 all the way down, so meet at the 'old ingles' in Loganville (right next to the current ingles) at 10:30 and we'll convoy out from there.
We are going to need to bail a little bit early, our neighborhood is establishing an HOA and we want to be represented (one of the old ladies already made a comment about I should read the covenants, to which I ask 'I'm sure you're talking about the part about cars right? Surely you don't mean these tagged, running, insured cars sitting in the driveway on concrete not overhanging the grass are you?')

How about the Kroger instead? I know some folks will want to get gas & ice and you can get that at their gas station plus there is a traffic light there?

Well my hearse wont be making it anylonger due to major mechanical promblems. Riding down with parents... That just sounds weird to say...

I'll be taking 78 regardless. 1 line mastercylinder, 4 wheel drum brakes, 3 speed column shift on a 236ci flathead engine with a downhill max speed of 70mph. My car is made to look pretty, not quallify in an NHRA sanctioned event...
