In just over a week, we will be launching our 1st annual event, the Fall "Get Your Kicks On Route 66 Hearse, Hot Rod and Classic Car Cruise & Show". The kick off starts around 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 20th on Joplin, Missouri and will conclude with breakfast and final awards presentation on Sunday, September 23rd in Elk City, Oklahoma.
As a reminder, the cost to attend both the Cruise and Show is $40.00 and includes dash plaques and two-shirts for the event. We have a lot of fun activities planned and should be a great time. for those who have never done this type of event, it is a blast! You get to meet all kinds of folks who share a passion, getting together for fun and fellowship and just getting your car out with others who love their cars too!
We are already hard at work planning the "Spring Onto Route 66 Hearse, Hot Rod and Classic Car Cruise" for Spring 2008 and looking at dates in April. The Spring events will be a Cruise only from various starting and ending points with lots of fun and excitement along the way. Our Fall Cruise & Show will change yearly as to what cities along the way we will visit, but we will always have the Car Show in Elk City, OK, Ackly Park and the National Route 66 Museum Complex.
