Join us for the Cool Ghoul’s Hearse and Car Show - April 27, 2008 in Houston, TX

Join us on Sunday, as the parking lot of the Houston Grand Plaza hotel is transformed into the most unusual car show you’ve ever encountered; The Annual Cool Ghoul’s Hearse and Car Show. This unique event showcases funeral vehicles and their coffin cargo, (stiffs not included), from across the US and Canada, with over 20 hearse expected to attend.

Hearses provide a “final ride” for millions of people around the world each year. Yet they have an unfair perception of foreboding and dread. Even though few people have ever seen one up close, hearses evoke fear in people like no other vehicle.

The Hearse and Car Show is the perfect opportunity to satisfy your curiosity about hearses and meet people who use the vehicle as a daily commute or a head turning weekend ride. Here is your chance to encounter these beautiful vehicles in a brightly lit area without any reason for fear.

Some of the hearses have been restored to original showroom condition, while others have been customized beyond your wildest imagination. Whether you are an antique car buff, a custom hotrod enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates a cool looking car, The Annual Cool Ghoul’s Hearse and Car Show has something for you.

Come as a “spooktator” or bring you own custom car and join in the creepy fun!

The Annual Cool Ghoul’s Hearse and Car Show is in conjunction with the Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Convention (HAuNTcon). If you have any questions or would like to pre-register your vehicle, contact Leonard Pickel at (972) 951-5100.

Pre-registered vehicles can check in at 11am. On site registration is at 10:30 am. There is a registration fee of $10 per hearse and is not included in the price of admission to HAuNTcon. All registered vehicles will receive a commemorative dash plaque courtesy of host hearse club.
