Most interesting/memorable thing at NHAA meet

I mainly just wanted a reason to post this. I thought I would start a new thread for anything that was memorable that happened at the meet.

Our club went to eat Sat night at Outback. We only took two hearses. Sally, Darrell's chopped 79 Superior and Betsy, Paul's 68 Superior with roof rack. We had 9 adults and one baby. I'm sure people didn't know what to think all these people getting out of hearses.

Hard to pick a single memory. Invigorating 20 minute swim in 51 degrees when y'all thought I was crazy though...

"I may not be Funerary Poseidon but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night."

pulling into the parking lot friday for the first time and having the film crew video me backing into the space. honestly after all i went through that week, just getting there safely and in one piece was a huge accomplishment.

I would say the convoy to the Harley shop was pretty cool. Also pulling to the parking lot to see that more than just a few hearses had shown up like I feared we might get.

Talk about just getting there. Thomas and me were suppose to meet our club at 9 am in Charlotte. The body man didn't get to the body shop until 8:30 am. I showed almost everybody I talked to the video of Friday morning, Abbie being backed out of the paint booth around 9 am. So we did not get to cruise up with our club as planned. I was more than excited when we got to the parking lot and I saw a line of hearses. Then we walk into the conference room and I see all these hearse people and most know who I am.

Josh I was hoping you would show up in the blue pimp suit with the shoes.

If we had a costume party next year like Thomas suggested I will wear it. I add a little to it ever year. I might would have brought it if I would have knew how cold it was going to be.
