Now if you've already heard about this good, but all of those who haven't, I'm posting this anywhere and everywhere I can to try and get as many hearse owners to show up as I can. TrickConTreat 2008 Hearse and ShockRod Show in Oklahoma City. Oct 3rd-5th. Anyone and everyone who possibly can I would love to see out there. Its the first time that I know of that anything cool has been hosted in Okc so I'd like to make this the biggest and most memorable event in Okc's history of plain ole boring car shows. More info can be found here http://www.trickcontreat.com/

They approached me to help with this when we did a show at "Texas Frightmare Weekend". If gas wasn't so damn high, I might have helped... But they did take my example calling it the "Hearse and Shock Rod Show"...

I will let C.O.T.D know about it, and will try myself to make it, it will depend on gas prices and time off for me.

That would be freakin awesome if you can make it. I'm requesting that week off if I'm not going to be working anywhere near home. I'd really like for this to turn into a pretty big show. I have no idea who else is going to be there but I'm hoping that this could turn into a yearly thing. Along with the trickcon treat thing thats also goin on.

Hey, guys! I'm Kat Astrofik, the administrator for TrickConTreat and coordinator for the First Annual TrickConTreat Hearse Show. Just wanted to give you some more info about the show and hopefully cement some of your minds on coming out to support us and show off your rides!!

For those who didn't catch it on the website (or if you just wanted confirmation), we are offering TWO FREE weekend passes for each car that is entered and registration is FREE!!! This is our first year doing the show in association with TrickConTreat, so we'll do anything to get you out! There will be awesome prizes and awards and I might even throw in some homemade coffin cookies! Oh, and I'm being told there will be live music!

We're allowing hearses (of course), hot rods and motorcycles (lovingly called "fright bikes") which we define as any hot rod or motorcycle painted up with a dark theme. I'll also allow professionals since I'm infatuated with them. We're pretty flexible, but we promise to keep the plain cars to a bare minimum.

If you are interesting in participating, here's what I would like from you:

A picture of your vehicle (with or without you)
              Your name (nicknames are fine)
Make/Model/Year and Name of your vehicle
Permission to use above info to promote the show (pictures will not be altered in any way, shape or form)

Any other questions, suggestions, requests? Unfortunately, this little hearse lover hasn't been to many hearse shows (hence why I decided we needed our own!), so I'd like to hear from you guys on what would make TrickConTreat a can't-miss event!

Haven't heard a whole lot of response over this little shindigg. So I wanted to yell at the okies on here (that includes you Tulsaguy) Too try and make it a point to make an appearance. And of course any out of staters I'd love to see all of you show up too. I think this will be a pretty awesome show.

I am glad to see that The Rocky Horror Picture Show is leading the list of the B Horror Movies Poll. If you had here in the south east, I could hook you up with my ShadowCast and have a showing of the movie with us.
