I got "Betty" the 63 Superior ambulance combo for free, the guy who i got it from, (was gonna make it a limo) had no time to work on it and it was rusting out on his street and parking enforcement had their big red eyeballs all over it, a neighbor who knew him and knew i was into hearses let me know the guy wanted it to have a better home. so he gave it to me!!!!!! he just wanted me to take care of it. came with a 76B dual tone fed sig siren, a 14B fed sig beacon, both jump seats and a packet of cocktail sauce from Captain D's seafood restaurant.
THANK YOU GREG FOR THIS WONDERFUL CHARIOT, I AM INDEED TAKING CARE OF IT, while having some fun with her too.

Well I had gotten my '90 Cadillac by Eagle for 1,500 but sold it to Fats for 800 two caskets, two church trucks, and two tall funeral stands with candles in them, which I can probably sell for a small profit to buy a better hearse.

Heh. I love old tractors. Every now and then the little bit of redneck I have in me comes out. My grandmother has a horse drawn hay baler I have been trying to get her to give me for years. Well, actually, she gave it to me, i just have no way to move it and nowhere to put it...........

                    1948 Seeburg jukebox

Just got home tonight from the Goodguys Hotrod Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. While walking through the swap meet friday morning I saw something I couldn't live without... a 1948 Seeburg jukebox. Believe it or not I hauled this beast home in the trunk of my 1964 Mercury! I had the jukebox sitting behind my car all day today @ the show & people came literally RUNNING up to it & trying to buy it... luckily i covered up the price it had on it with a "not for sale" sign or people would have been passing out. Had one guy beg me 3 times today to buy it, offered $500 for starters. Told him it wasn't for sale all 3 times & he said "Alright, i give up... can I at least ask what you paid?" So i peeled off the paper covering the painted-on price... he walked away & wouldn't say another word other than "I HATE YOU". BTW just plugged it in after getting it in the house... all the lights work too. Check out the pix... last one is the price... & i beat him down a little on that!

Thanks dude it'll be alot of fun to work on somewhat & just look at for decoration. Not gonna go for a restoration, kinda like the worn & weathered look. Located some decent used red side lenses for $100 and a multi colored lens for the dome (there's a little motor in the top that turns slow & when you add a multi colored lens to it the entire dome changes colors slowly). Thanks to Youtube i've watched several of these in full action & they're wild. It'll be a neat addition to the living room, right along with the old Boron gas pump! After doing some research tonight it's older than I thought... it's a Seeburg Symphonola 146 "S" & only made in 1946, just after WWII and nicknamed "the trashcan". They had similar models for '47 & '48 but then drastically changed styling again in 1949. Man if this old thing could talk...

I scored a 1970 Fisher Fleetwood Ambulence Combo for $600. Talked them down from $1200. Realized later they got the better end of the deal. I'm having a tough time restoring her. She doesn't even have a top or a back door.
