tracking down rain leaks is a PITA

so... driving in the rain causes a pretty big leak onto the driver's side floor pan. so far i have figured out that it is running down the mount for the brake, but so far that's all i have been able to determine. Water is definitely coming from somewhere up top...

found the leaky spot with the help of my neighbor who is AWESOME.

another annoying thing that's happening is the foam insulating the inside of my ducts is breaking down. it comes out in pits, pieces, and chunks through the vents. highly irritating.
