        Well hello Dr. Wicked,
I welcome you to our twisted little family. What the hell took you so long to find us and post? Some of our members are fabricators also (including me). Some are purists (which is cool too). But most important, we encourage diversity.
You are very talented. I look foward to more of your posts. Where are you from? Where did you learn your skills? What are the future plans for the car?

I don't know what took me so long to find this forum, looks fun, though. Maybe the marketing dept. should try harder, j/k!

I'm living in LA, right now. As for where I learned my skills, well, I'm not sure I really have any. You guys haven't seen me attempt to weld!

FYI, my next goal is to get the gold 3-Way up and running via use of the 472 and TH400 from the black hearse.

Right now I'm doing force and buckling calculations on the four link to determine what size of heim joints and rod tubing dimensions to use. Then I gotta figure out which shocks will work and how to mount them. I already have my air bags picked out.

Well, let me know if you want to see any other pics. I have plenty. I plan to work on these guys this weekend, so I should have more to share soon.

              Later....

Wicked, DO NOT INSTALL SANDERSON HEADERS!!!!
I lived in San Francisco for years. Sanderson is in South SF. I spent years "correcting" sealing problems with those shitty headers. Alot of bay area folks buy them because they can get these headers same day just by driving over to Sanderson. Sanderson made me alot of cash but as a good guy, I'll tell you they will be way more of a hassle than a value for the investment to buy their over priced stuff.

Buy Thorleys, Hooker or Headmen. I'll be frank and tell you that I have never had a problem with any of those three.

Great project. I've had a few cars off their rails but I'd never attempt it with my coach. Kudos to you for your enormous balls!

Actually, I was probably going to go with the mts headers, they look pretty good.

that my friend is wonderful thing to see. You are taking alot if time, money and effort, and pride in your coach. it is nice to see that others love these cars and will do what ever it takes to keep it around a long time and nice looking. it is such a shame to see such a beautiful car like these just rusting away in a field or something. very ,very nice job!!

Awesome work! You seemed confident about not reinforcing the door openings?

I'm sorry, why would I reinforce the door openings?

To not put extra stress on the car with its frame and doors removed all at the same time.

these car bodies WILL flex without the frame.
