Can you slide hammer out the front pulley? Make some sorta bracket, bolt it in the 4 wholes and slide hammer the sucker out? Does the motor have like a "timing cover" type face that can be removed?

I picked up the whole half of the body by one body mount with no ill effects. Maybe these bodies are stronger than everybody thinks??? I haven't found anyone that has attempted to remove the frame from a hearse, much less someone that has and had the body collapse. Any good stories out there?
As for the door frames, I didn't reinforce them, again, didn't see a need to. The body is loaded from the bottom in six locations, I don't see how the trapazoids of the door frames are being loaded to cause them to collapse. The body does seem very stiff even though the frame has been removed. I have replaced the frame back underneath to measure the suspension travel and everything seems to line up again, so it doesn't seem that anything flexed...maybe I'm just lucky?
As for the harmonic balancer hub. I did remove it, but I didn't use a slide hammer as I couldn't bear the thought of transferring the hammer blows into the crank's bearing system. What I did was to buy a pulley puller from Harbor Freight ($7.99!!!).
I used the puller as designed, and, of course, the thing cracked! So I grabbed a ~1/2" thick piece of steel and used a mill to make a big hole in the center. I then drilled 6 more holes to allow the puller hub (the silver thing in the picture) to be bolted to one side while allowing 4 bolts to attach to the crankshaft hub. I then installed this contraption to the crankshaft and used my impact gun to tighten it. Worked beautifully. If anyone is interested, I can upload a pic, just let me know.
