  • Weatherstripping // Information Request

"Martha" my 1967 Hearse is now in the body shop getting a $4000.00 face lift. Does any have information that can assist me in location weatherstripping for all doors. The vehicle will have a complete paint job (including the inside of the doors and the door jambs. It is very important that I get weatherstripping before the rainy season starts. Any assistance will be appreciated.

I haven't bought it yet, but it appears my 70 Superior takes J.C. Whitney part # ZX819846R

Do you think there will be much of a difference between the two years. I contemplated ordering a basic generic stripping that could seal the doors. I will contiune to research, however, if you happen to cross any information of value, please post it at your first opportunity. Thanks for your help and the information you have provided thus far.

On www.steelerubber.com it shows a door weatherstrip similar to J.C. Whitney that fits our years.
I would bet it would work.

Thanks for the information. I took a look at the website from you response and feel confident that I will find what I need. Thanks for your feedback and input. I plan to visist the body shop and grab a piece of the weatherstripping from the door and order replacement as soon as possible. My '67 M&M will have a complete paint job, including the door jambs and doors. Pictures to come when task is finished.
